... And that's when I destroyed Tartarus...
Genghis Khan was born in Mongolia, in 1162 A.D. His name as a child was Temujin, which means “finest steel”. When Temujin was nine he was sent to live with his future wife and got married when he was 16. Temujin then killed his half brother and became a Khan. He learned that his father had been betrayed by a spy from Tartarus and died.
Temujin married a woman named Borte and made an alliance with her tribe. Temujin worked hard until he and his army were strong enough to take over Tartarus. When Temujin battled Tartarus he showed no mercy and killed off their armies and leaders. After this Temujin took over neighboring Mongol tribes joind him. These Mongols named him Genghis Khan which means “Ruler of All”. Genghis created a code of laws called Yasak. He ended up controlling 200,000 people. Genghis sadly died on August 18, 1227.
He conquered a larger and greater population than the Romans did in 4 centuries ago. He expanded the Mongol empire by a lot. His grandson (Kublai Khan) defeated China’s Song rulers, and made the Yuan Dynasty, and now about 16 million men in the Mongol empire are descendants of Genghis Khan or his brothers. So that is Genghis Khan’s legacy.
