  • The senates represents the people living in his or her state. They write and vote on laws called "Bills".
  • How to become a Representative 
  • The senate is created by congress being split into two chambers the house of representatives and the SENATE. The senate of the united states shall be composed of two senators from each state, elected by the people thereof, for six years.
  • The house and senate similarities 
  • The house of representatives makes and passes federal laws 
  • To be elected into the house you have to be at least 25 years old and must be an american citizen for at least seven years and in inhabitant of the state he or she is representing.
  • The United States Senate and House of Representatives are similar in that they are both elective bodies of a legislature established in Article I of the U.S. Constitution.
