In chapter 1 we learn all about equality. About his time in school and lots of other things but the most important part of chapter 1 would be when he gets his vocation (job). In this picture we see him out on the streets with a broom.
"The Golden One"
I picked this picture to make this storyboard because this is Liberty 5-3000. This is the girl he meets as he was cleaning the streets out bu the field where she works. This is important because in his society men and women were forbidden to talk together.
I must show somebody.
I used this background because in the book he finds an old abandoned subway station where he goes every night to work in things and he discovers electricity while he is down int the old station.
The Home of corrective detention
I picked this scene because in chapter four he tells liberty the name he has given in her in his head. He calls her the golden one because she has blonde hair. The interesting part of this is that she has given him a name which is unconquered.
In chapter five this is when he notices that he needs to show the council of scholars his discovery. He thinks that his discovery is so great that he will be forgiven of the things he has done to invent this discovery. " Our discovery is to great to be wasting our time sweeping the streets" (Rand 60)
In chapter 6 Equality is caught in his tunnel and has to go to the home of corrections for his lashes until he tells where he was and why he was late to the theater that night.
