  • The 38th Parallel
  • North Korea Attacks
  • Pusan
  • After WWII, Korea split up into two sides, North Korea (communist red), and South Korea (capitalist blue).
  • Help Arrives 
  • North Korea saw South Korea as a threat towards them, so they attacked and crossed the 38th parallel.
  • China Joins In
  • The North took over all of South Korea, except for a little place called Pusan.
  • Stalemate
  • South Korea thought that they were done for, until the U.N. support arrived to pushed the North Koreans back, and even pushed them over the 38th Parallel. 
  • South Korea liberated most of North Korea, when China joined in the fight. They ended up pushing the American forces all the way back to the 38th Parallel.
  • The fighting continued for a while, until both sides reached a stalemate. They stopped attacking and stayed on their side. Now they're are DMZ to keep each side where they are.
