Whats going on?
George Bergeron describes his mental handicaps while he watches T.V in his home, with his wife Hazel who contains no known handicaps.
I'll give you ten seconds to go back and play your instruments correctly .
Harrison Bergeron son of George and Hazel, breaks out of prison and is labeled as extremely dangerous as he is able to overcome his handicaps.
Whats the issue?
Harrison Bergeron breaks in to a dance show, makes the musicians play a more creative beat, and dances with the most beautiful dancer on stage all to convey how society should be different.
I love this new screen box!
Diana Moon Glampers shoots and kills both Harrison and his dance partner, tells the musicians to go back and play the original songs they were preforming, and diminishes any chance of rebellion that Harrison could of started.
George comes back to see Lydia crying only to ask her why, for her to reply that she doesn't remember and just letting it go even though her sons murder was on the televison.
I can't remember.
Irony come into effect when you presume a certain action, or event will happen, but the opposite happens instead. In the scene above a couple from the 1600s are experiencing a t.v. for the first time. This demonstrates irony because obviously a couple from the 1600s wouldn't have a flat screen t.v.
