  • Sargon was both a strong king and a skilled general. Sargon built his empire through military strategies.To maintain control of his empire he used very political strategies. Sargon also demanded the loyalty of the goveners

  • This is our irrigation system that we use to keep our land fertile so that we get enough food 
  • Babylonia thrived under Hammurabi. Trade helped the empires economy. Babylonian woman also had more rights than in most other ancient societies. Hammurabi was careful to properly maintain irrigation so that land remained fertile and provided enough food.
