  • Took long for their resources to arrive
  • People back in Britain didn't support the war
  • NO MORE WAR
  • Unfamiliar with the land
  • Which way should  i go?
  • There was a huge distance problem for the British. Their resources and troops took a long time to get where it needed to be. It took long because they had to travel with a boat across the Atlantic, and it was expensive. 
  • Stronger Army
  • King George tried and could not get support of the people in Britain. They saw no reason to be fighting with America. It was very expensive, people were risking their lives, and the British got tired of the war as it dragged on. Also people were angry how far their family was from them.
  • More sodiers
  • Generals did not know where to go when they arrived in the colonies territory. Soldiers didn't know the town layouts. Like hills, valleys, coves, and more. 
  • Resources 
  • The British Army were more trained than the Americans. They also had a massive amount of weapons. British did good in battles and had more experience
  • The British army had 50,000 soldiers. They also had an extra 30,000 mercenaries. They were also called Hessians and came from Germany. They outnumbered the continental army by 60,000 soldiers
  • The British always seem to have the resources they needed. Some examples are food, weapons, uniforms, gunpowder, and other things they needed during the war.
