Britain was hurting financially after the French and Indian War. One of the first proclamation's were that the land won would be reserved for the Native Americans in the west. That means that colonists wouldn't be able to settle in that land which made people very angry.
The Quartering Act forced colonists to house British soldiers and provide for them. This was another way that Britain tried to gain control.
The Stamp Act required colonists to pay a tax on most printed materials. You would have to buy the stamp and have no say in whether we should remove it or not.
The Boston Massacre consisted of angry colonists harassing British troops. The soldiers had enough and couldn't take it anymore so they opened fire and killed 5 colonists.
In the Boston Tea Party colonists got angry because of the new tea act which added taxes on tea. The tea tax made the prices lower but colonists were still angry. They decided to dress up as natives and throw all of the tea into the ocean.
In the Lexington and Concord incident, it all started with a group of colonists who decided to steal gunpowder. British troops were furious because of their actions. No one knows who fired first but it ended up killing 8 colonists and the British suffered in 273 casualties.
