How the beliefs of a parent affects the way they raise their children

This scene shows how Walter Sr. acts, and how he might influence his children to act.
"As the Cunningham's had no money to pay a lawyer, they simply paid us with what they had". (28)
"The Cunnigham's never took anything they can't pay back- no church baskets and no scrip stamps. They get along with what they have". (26)
"This relates to my theme because Walter is obviously taught how to act by his father because he adopts the same actions in the same situations
These three examples relate to my theme because the beliefs of Walter's father (i.e. not taking handouts and being respectful) led to the way Walter acted.
"While Walter piled food on his plate, him and Atticus talked like two men." (32)
