  • Frog
  • Scarlet Macaw
  • Gorilla
  • The Frog is a very interesting creature, the frog can live on land and in water! Frogs need damp surroundings when on land due to the fact that they breath through their skin. On land frogs has crouch with its legs folded but that gives it the ability to push its legs forward and leap long distances.
  • Lion
  • The Scarlet Macaw may look like it's legs are short and stubby but in fact it's legs actually go all the way up its body. The Scarlet Macaw is one of the biggest birds in the parrot family along with cockatoos and parakeets. The Scarlet Macaw has fingers in its wings to help pick up food.
  • Cape Penguin
  • The gorilla's arms are actually longer than it's legs, when it moves on all fours, the gorilla leans on the knuckles of it's hands. The gorilla's food is well designed to grasp onto branches.
  • Human
  • The lion has a short, rounded skull with strong jaws. Huge muscles are attached to the big bony ridge at the back of the skull. The lion's backbone bends easily so the lion can crouch low and slink along the ground when it stalks it's prey.
  • The penguin's beak is long and pointed-a good shape for catching and holding wriggly fish. Most birds have light bones to help them fly. But the penguin's bones are heavier. The added weight helps the bird dive below the surface of the sea.
  • The Human's backbone is made up of many different small bones called vertebrate. The backbone is actually the little bit of tail humans have left. The human's skull is big and round to protect the big brain.
