  • Cupid had accepted and decided to obey his mother’s orders, but the beauty and charm of Psyche made him feel that he just couldn’t make her fall in love with a vile, hideous and vicious beast. On the other hand his mother would be furious at this so he decided to hide this from her.
  • Time went by, both her sisters had gotten married but Psyche was yet to. This became a worry to both Psyche and her parents so they called upon Apollo’s oracle at Delphi.  Apollo ordered that Psyche should be brought to a mountain and stay there all alone. The husband that was destined to her would take away Psyche, his new wife.
  • The level of desperation was unimaginable, among Psyche’s friends and families. Psyche was prepared for even death, she was that desperate. In distress they quickly went off, leaving Psyche await for her husband, to take her out of this misery.
