Storyboard Text

  • Humans started to expand across the world. The text says, "Villages grew into  towns, towns into cities. And people began to live on earth rather than within it." (97).
  •  Apothecary  was know for dealing with medicine such as herbs, bark, and more. According to the text, " Apothecary was an old fashioned name, even then, for a chemist" (103) .
  •  Parson had two daughters that he loved dearly. According to the text,  " The Parson had two daughters, the monster went on,  who were the light of his life" ( 105).
  • As time passed the old man was bitter and greedy. The text reads, " The world was changing, and the Apothecary grew bitter (104).
  • The Apothecary wanted the yew tree very badly. It could have been used as medicine  to treat sicknesses but did not get because the Parson said no because it was on his land. The text says, It can cure almost any ailment man suffers from, mixed and treated by the right apothecary" (105) 
  • The Parson daughters then grew very ill and nothing could help them, then Parson pleaded to Apothecary to save them even if it meant giving up all he had. Apothecary claimed there was nothing he could do then the two daughters dies. : (
  • The Yew tree destroyed the house that the Parson had lived in then Connor joined now everything in that house is gone.
