All the way to the bottom of the pyramid, the serfs (peasants) have to serve for the king and they cannot leave the manor and they have to work all day everyday.
  • As I am the new ruler of the country, I am funding the money for more weapons and the military.
  • FEED US! We are hungry!
  • If the serfs (peasants) want to stay in the manor being protected from enemies, thieves, and other evil beings, they must work under the king and they also have to pay taxes even though they get a limited amount of gold that they recieve from labor.
  • What! This is unfair. I have to pay half of my salary that I worked hard on  to the government.
  • During the medieval ages, after the fall of the Roman Empire, many people forgot how to read and write. Only the monks of the monestaries and the wealthy can learn how to read and write. None of the peasants have the money to provide education.

  • Income Tax due today! Pay half of your salary
