Storyboard Text

  • With everyone at the fun-filled carnival, Montressor decides this is the perfect time to go forth with his plan of revenge on a drunken Fortunato. He starts by beginning to lead him elsewhere.
  • Fortunato! Would you mind coming with me to test some Amontillado?
  • Amontillado? Of course!
  • Montressor and Fortunato arrive at Montressor's palazzo. His revenge plot still in mind.
  • Make yourself at home...
  • As Montressor leads Fortunato deeper and deeper into his catacombs, Fortunato begins to develop a cough.
  • We could always go back up, maybe have some different wine...
  • No no no, I- I am fine. Take me to the Amontillado.
  • They stop for a rest in an area. During this time, Fortunato's drunkness is wearing off. To keep him confused, Montressor decides to offer him more wine.
  • Don't be shy. Here, try this one.
  • Well.. if you insist.
  • Fortunato gets so drunk that he becomes extremely unaware of his surroundings. Making this the perfect time for Montressor to act upon his revenge... and chain him up.
  • You crossed a line with that insult Fortunato..
  • Montressor you don't have to do this! I'm sorry!
  • As Montressor built the brick wall around him, the wails of Fortunato echoed through the catacombs. After the last brick was put it, Fortunato has never been heard of since. Leaving that part of the catacombs untouched for over half a century...
  • In pace requiescat!
