It was gloomy morning and Mrs.Crowther was attending her sons funeral. Mrs. Crowther was a single mother who's husband was killed from hunger.
He was so young and so smart. 7 months ago he was happy and knew what was his future held.
Thank you. I want to share my sons story and have everyone realize what type of government is running our country. Yang lived a very difficult life and died very painfully.
I will share his story, and I am very sorry for your loss. 對不起你的損失
Mrs. Crowther decided that her sons story needed to be shared so she meeted a news reporter to tell what happened to him.
Yang was a young boy who began working since he was a child. He would work with his father and he still couldn't have an education. When Mao took over things became better, Yang got an education and was still able to help us with farming.
Mrs. Crowther and the reporter decided to get out of the rain and went somewhere else to talk.
Years later The Great Leap forward occurred and Yang became tired of having others tell him what to do. After school Yang would work and others would put the pressure on him. Yang became so very tired and he decided to give up. There were days where he didn't even get off of his bed.
Then the cultural revolution occurred. The day Yang went to school he changed. All of his friends would criticize Yang for not loving Mao. Yangs mood began to change and became very irritated. He became a red guard. Him and his group of friends would go around the neighborhood and write a name on a piece of paper and would post it around the neighborhood to show others that that person was not a believer of Mao Yang would come home with bruises and couldn't do anything to stop it. He was scared.
After the red guards things became calmer, but Yang was sent to the upperside of China along with the other red gaurds, and Yang became very tired and was killed by the governmnt because he was too tired to work.
