This is an illustration of when Odysseus and his men are being held captive in the Cyclops Polyphemus’ cave after they have tricked him into falling asleep. This illustration depicts the central idea of Justice because Polyphemus murdered several of Odysseus men and this is there plan of stabbing him in his eye in order to escape and also bring justice for his fallen men.
The setting of this event takes place after Odysseus is told by the witch Circe to Visit the blind prophet Tiresias in the underworld. This is an act of dedication because Odysseus knows how extremely dangerous it could be in the underworld but he takes the risk anyways with no second thoughts because he would do what ever it takes to reach his home and re unite with his family in Ithaca
This is an illustration of Odysseus finally meeting his son Telemachus again after 20 years of him being away. This is a good example of fate because no one even knew if Odysseus was still alive, there was no proof. But Telemachus still had this feeling and spent his time searching while on the other hand Odysseus went through unbeleivable situations and having a God work against him, they still managed to finally re unite after 20 years of hell. (If that isn't fate I don't know what is)
