Post Hoc, or Ergo Propter Hoc, is a type of fallacy where because something happened after another, it must have occured resulting from it. Here's an example:
One day, it was raining. Despite the weather, Marissa decided to go outside.
Suddenly, the rain stopped as soon as she stepped out of her house.
While Marissa was at the restaurant with her friend, there was still no rain.
After having lunch at the restaurant, she decided to return to her house.
