John Proctor forces Mary Warren to travel to Salem to confess the truth by telling the court official the Abigail and the girls are frauds. When she told them she pretended to faint, they told her to do it and she filed to do it.
Act 4: False Confession
John Proctor confesses his affair with Abigail and explains that's why Elizabeth fired Abigail fired her when she discovered it. When Elizabeth came in she was asked to tell her story she fails to tell the truth to save her husband and when he turn he yells that he confessed truth but its was too late and the damage was done.
Act 4: All lies
Once Abigail found that the court sided with her. Abigail put on an act and the girls followed after and did the same thing to make it more believable.
Act 4: False Accused
John Proctor confessed to witchcraft, even though it is not true. As proof, they asked him to sign his name to pin to the church, so he can be seen as an example and a warning for the rest of the town.
Once people come to their senses, they realized how crazy this had been but before they can confront Abigail, she fled to Boston.
All who were falsely accused were hanged. Before they were hanged they read Lord's Prayer and later Giles Corey was pressed under stone.
