  • The Rosenbergs were Ethel and Julius Rosenberg. They were accused of selling nuclear secrets to the Russians.
  • Today students, we are going to learn about the Rosenberg Trial in 1951. 
  • The Rosenberg Trial- March 6, 1951
  • The only evidence was a confession from David Greenglass. The trial lasted almost a month ending on April 4 with convictions. 
  • The Rosenberg Trial- March 6, 1951
  • They were offered a deal where their death sentences would be commuted in return for admission of their guilt. They refused and were executed. 
  • Rosenbergs were sentenced to death row on April 6.
