Father and son were at chess
Sergeant-Major Morris showed up at the Whites door. once he went inside he started telling them stories about this monkey,s paw.
Sergeant Major-Morris is telling them about his self and about the Monkey's Paw
This is when Herbert forced his dad to wish for 200 pounds and his dad did it for the family so he can pay off the house.
After the dad made the wish for 200 pounds the son died and then the dad seen the Monkey's Paw in the fire.
They kept interfering with fate which caused them to all die.
