  • Alhóndiga de Granaditas
  • Aldama: We need to find a way to enter into the Alhondiga without being shot by the Spanish.
  • Pipila: I will carry a rock in my back, to stop the bullets, I will reach the door, and set it on fire.
  • The Visit to Atotonilco
  • Miguel Hidalgo:This will be the symbol of our movement. La virgen de Guadalupe.
  • The visit to San Miguel el Grande (Part 1)
  • Allende:We need to go to San Miguel el Grande, we will have the support and control of all the town there, since it is my homeland.
  • The insurgent army entered the Alhondiga, and the Peninsulares and creoles there were killed, including women children.
  • The visit to San Miguel el Grande (Part 2)
  • Hidalgo and Allende: Pueblo, friends, and allies, join us in the movement of independence. We will need as many weapons, and gunpowder as we can get.
  • There was a lot of devotion to the Virgen de Guadalupe (also known as “Patrona de Mexico”) .
  • Insurgent army stayed 2 days in San Miguel el Grande. There was no need of fighting there to get support.
  • By September 19, there was a large amount of people following them. Next they were heading to the Alhondiga, since it was full of important Spanish people.
