The Battle with Grendel

Beowulf and Geatish warriors sail across the sea to aid King Hrothgar in the savage attacks the Monster Grendel is causing.
A Mother's Revenge
HOW DARE YOU KILL MY SON!
You will pay for what you've done, SEA WITCH!
Grendel attacks the Mead Hall and Beowulf fights him in hand-to-hand combat. Beowulf tears off Grendel's arm in the process. Grendel "defeated" runs to his mother for help.
The Monster's Mother
After the Battle with Grendel, King Hrothgar praises and honors Beowulf. They a massive feast to celebrate the "defeat" of Grendel. Hrothgar awards him with gifts. Everyone rejoiced but they did not know what was soon to come... A Mother's Revenge.
The Final Battle
My Lord Beowulf... may you rest in peace.
After the feast, Beowulf goes to sleep. While he is asleep, Grendels Mother attacks Herot on her quest to avenge her son. She leaves satisfied that she killed Hrothgar's best friend.
My friend is dead!
After Beowulf sees the devastation Grendel's Mother has left behind, he tracks her to her fiery underwater lair to kill her for what she's done. Fearing that Beowulf is dead, the people of Herot waited at the lake. Beowulf surfaced with Grendel's head and the hilt made by giants that killed Grendel's Mother.
Time passes after the defeat of Grendel. Beowulf is now seventy and is going to his final battle against a dragon. His followers flee but Wiglaf remains by his side. Beowulf is fatally injured and burned to death. Wiglaf kills the dragon and mourns Beowulf's death. His men cremate Beowulf and build a light house in his honor.
