  • I heard through the grapevine that the Blue Bellies are hiring fresh fish.
  • You'll be fine!
  • Will they recruit a jailbird like me? And do I gotta grow those sideburns?
  • kepi = a hat or cap skedaddle = leave, usually quickly wallpapered = drunk red eye = liquor hunting for bark juice = looking for liqour
  • Good morning. If I hand you a kepi, you are in, if not you better skedaddle.
  • Dang, I wish I was wallpapered right now
  • I got some old red eye for you! Or we can go hunting for bark juice.
  • lead pills = Bullets bee hive = Knapsack or backpack yonder = Somewhere, over there
  • Oh no I ran outta lead pills!

  • I will acknowledge the corn, I'm gay as a sunflower to be leaving this place. All I need is some goober peas, and I'll be good for the whole journey.
