I sure do wish that neighbor lady didn't have a husband!
Dude, what was wrong with your wife yesterday??
Oh where's my husband at when I really need him, these people are nuts.
These people are soooo stupid.
I didn't do anything wrong!
GUYS! Come on! I'm pregnant here, can't you see!
Jeeezzz that prego lady either has really bad hormones or she is the monster.
UGH! Where is Norbit with that tea coolin'!
I'm so confused right now.
It's 6:43pm on a quiet, late summer afternoon in the USA, on a street called Maple Street. It's a small town and the street is lined with trees. Don Martin, Steve Brand and Charlie sit on the porch as Tommy walks by. It's very peaceful in the town, until suddenly, a huge light flashes by. It resembles a meteor and it lands somewhere in the distance.
This brings wonder to the town as the townsfolk attempt to figure out what this strange light was. They gather around each other and talk about what this light could possibly be. Tommy comes over and tells the town about his comic book that he read that had the same problem that the town was having, so the town decides to try and find the suspect.
It wasn't me, I swear! It was...it was...It was TOMMY!
Hey! Come back here! I'll get you! YOU are MONSTERS, I'll PROVE IT!
While the town is at least still remotely sane, something odd happens, all the power goes out, the telephone wires quit working, and all the cars stop running. But suddenly, Les's car turns on by itself, and, needless to say, all the sane left in the people quickly disappears and they go into panic mode, going after Les because of his car. The car turns back off.
It' s now very dark outside, and the townsfolk are still all outside talking about the situation. Suddenly, a dark figure starts walking toward the people. Charlie pulls out a gun and shoots at the figure. The figure drops dead to the ground and the group rushes over to the figure and flips him over. It's Pete Vanhorn... Charlie killed an innocent man.
You shot him Charlie! You shot him dead!!!
The townsfolk chase Charlie up on his porch, then they surround him on his porch. They question Charlie about whether or not he is the monster. Desperate to prove that he isn't the monster, Charlie blames Tommy because he knew what was going to happen.
Long story short, the town goes nuts, pointing fingers at anybody who could be the suspect, but little did they know that THEY were the true monsters on Maple Street.
ARH! Guys! Hello! God, it's so hard to run with this baby in my stomach!
