  • Independence movement starting in 1920-22
  • Britain's occupation is wrong. We Indians deserve our freedom and will work for it. This land is ours and we will not submit to anyone's control. But at the same time we will not employ violence so as to not hurt our own cause
  • Indian Independence and Pakistan tries to secede 1947
  • Gandhi sir, us Muslims in India have been suffering under constant abuse from Hindus. It is as if they are trying to establish a fully Hindu state and it is unfair. Therefore we will secede and form a separate state: Pakistan.
  • Please don't do this Ali Jinnah. Indians will resist this secession and it will become violent.
  • 1950-52 the first election occurs and Congress is elected.
  • Congratulations my friends. This is our first major victory as a free democratic nation!
  • Yes, you're right. Our first free democratic election is a success.
  • As the first elected officials from the first free election for Congress, let's do a good job securing our nation and its future.
  • Please do not do this our nation will suffer and Indians will resist
  • We have been persecuted by Hindus and do not wish to be under the control of Pakistan and so us Muslims previously living in East Bengal will form the nation of Bangladesh.
