  • In this quote from "Paul Revere's Ride" it shows rhyme scheme. At the end of each line the last word sounds the same as the last.
  • Simile
  • In this, Paul Revere is telling the spy what to do when he sees the British approaching. The lights symbolize danger is on its way.
  • Imagery
  • This shows alliteration because of how the consonant sound is repeating.
