- Experts also say that this particular flood may be the worst in recorded…
- No way… is that water coming from the front door? Don’t tell me, is this the 100-year flood? No… no way!
- Climate change is making this all worse – our gaseous pollution is enhancing the Greenhouse Effect, so the Earth is retaining more heat and now the oceans are evaporating way faster, and the clouds can hold much more rain.
- Floodwater is seeping into my foyer! What's going on?!
- It might be! Extreme weather events are a result of climate change.

- Experts believe that the heavy use of fossil fuels as well as greenhouse gases such as methane and CFCs is accelerating global warming. Today’s flooding is seen as a symptom of these worsening problems– if we don’t work to reduce our footprint on the Earth, climate change will only get worse.
