Mr. Budnick: Good Mike, I’ll take a look in class, 3rd period.
Bud: I was testing your honesty, you copied the 3rd result on a simple Google search. Somebody wrote that and did not consent to its use, especially without reference to the creator. I told you to write one on your own as well. I’ll let you make another report, and it better not be copied. You have 24 hours, if there isn’t a report that you wrote in the Google classroom by 10:08 tomorrow the grade stands as a zero. Now get writing Mike, I’m sure you don’t have much time.
Mr. Budnick, I finished the book report, and posted it to the Google classroom.
(Michael leaves for lunch, then comes back for 3rd period.)
Bud: Something is troubling me here Mike. You’re report is very long and uses a wide and advanced vocabulary. Did you really write this report or did you just copy and paste somebody else’s work?
Mike: Yeah, I’ll be honest, I didn’t write it.
Mike: Yes sir!
The next 3rd period...
Bud: Good, I was worried you didn’t get it done on time. Let me check just to make sure.
Mike: I have the report that I wrote here for you, Mr. Budnick.
Mr. Budnick returns to his desk and checks over the paper and google results. He finds that Michael certainly wrote this report.
Bud: Looks like you learned your lesson about plagiarism Mike. Good report.
Mike:Thank you Mr. Budnick, this won’t happen again!
