Storyboard Text

  • Hello! You must be new here.
  • Figured. You look confused as to why we have so many stores and why they are full of resources. We are very economically stable here.
  • we barely have anything in stores. We have a big problem with starvation, in North Korea. We have no economic stability in my country
  • Yes, I am. I'm from North Korea visiting to see what its like here.
  • That's upsetting to hear. I just lost my job from the factory, so i wish everyone was provided a job because we have no economic security here.
  • Wish we had that, here its survival for everyone buy at least we can but anything that we please here.
  • We have our struggles in North Korea but the government helps everyone individual.
  • I wish you luck for a new job. Everyone has a job in North Korea even though it might not be the best. One thing we do have is economic security for our people.
  • wow you Americans do a lot around here!
  • Yup, if we don't then our economy would fail. We have a market economy so everything that gets sold and produced is by us, the people and things are always changing in our market depending on demand.
  • That's dedication from y'all because if you guys weren't working and selling it would be bad for you. In North Korea we have to depend on the government because they make all the decisions.
  • I honestly don't know. All I know if that we have to follow what our leader and government says because we have a command economy.
  • Sounds like you guys don't have very much freedom in North Korea and why is that ?
  • It's not as bad as you think it would be, but me and my family are living perfectly fine. Do tensions get high when millions of people are "the market"?
  • It's fairly easy to be in  a market economy because we all stabilize from it in different ways that fit all of our needs and wants.
  • It must be difficult to live under government control like that. How do you and your family live.
  • Thank you! For the lesson on Americans economy today. I wish you luck and a good farewell.
  • No problem! I had fun learning about North Korea economy too! Goodbye until next time.
