- A tour through Cassie's memory meanwhile she's scaping form the car

- We accept all you three in the camp, but you sir, have to be separated from your children.
- Refugee camp
- Cassie, now that the world may end... do you wanna do the chiqui chiqui ?
- what the hell is wrong with you ? Stop touching me or I swear I'll hit you.
- Don't worry Sammy....Everything is going to be fine
- What do the others want?
- I think they want our planet
- Cassie says that Sammy's her reason for not giving up. We're back in the present now, and she's making her way out from under the car. The refugee camp was about twenty miles away from Cassie's house, It was a ramshackle building that was made after the world ended. There were bloodstains everywhere. The dude in charge was Hutchfield. When they arrived at the camp, Hutchfield separated Cassie and Sammy from their dad for questioning. Cassie's pretty mad about it.
- OHHH!!! I know where to hide it.... but is that a good place
- is he going to turn back and come for us ?

- Cassie heard someone playing a song and it really upset her. She ran into the woods and Crisco, the jewel snatcher, followed her, he wanted to know if she would have sex with him if they only had twenty minutes to live, the thing is that Cassie wasn't interested. Then Crisco wanted to know if Cassie was a virgin, and then he got grabby. Cassie got so mad that she punched him in the nose.

- After about a week at the camp, everyone spotted a drone. It was clearly an alien drone, people were really nervous. Some people even started taking off, but Cassie and her family stayed, Sammy was having a hard time at night so she tried to comfort him. A few days later, the drone came back. Crisco tried to give Cassie a diamond necklace but she wasn't interested.
- Why do you want to split us, dad ?
- Hey Cassie... I want you to stay with my teddy bear.
- One morning, at the refugee camp, Cassie heard the sound of a helicopter and everyone noticed. But the helicopter turned and left, abruptly. Everyone was waiting for the helicopter to come back, some people even started packing their stuff. However, Cassie's dad was skeptical and he gave Cassie a new weapon, an M16, with also a piece of advice.
- Cassie, I want you to have this, remember; the enemy is whoever shoots you. Please hide it in a safe place.
- One afternoon, a convoy made its way to the refugee camp. It was a bunch of school buses and some military personnel. The military personnel wanted to take the children only. Cassie didn't want her family to split up, but her dad was insistent that she and Sammy get on the bus. He told them that he'd follow in a few hours.
- The military personnel wouldn't let Cassie on the bus, only Sammy. Cassie thought this was a terrible idea, but her dad insisted. She tried to tell Sammy that everything would be okay. He was really upset, though. Sammy gave Cassie his teddy bear, he watched from the bus window as it pulled away. Cassie was furious with her dad.
- No Cassie, I want what's the best for you both. Don't worry we will together very soon.
