  • Then I'm going to keep him isolated from other parts of India because he needs to be the next king of India.
  • Look at our baby, so cute.We are going to name him Siddhartha Gautama
  • My lord your baby is prophesied to be the next king of India or a very holyman.
  • At your service young master.
  • Siddhartha Gautama lived in the palace at the himalayan foot hill for 29 years isolated from the outside world and protected from the smallest misfortune.
  • What happened to these poor people. I have to help.
  • After 29 years Siddhartha Gautama then left the palace for a short excursion and what he saw fascinated him. He met a sick man, then an aging man and then a dying man. He thought that one day these suffering will com to him too.
  • He then met a holyman who learnt to seek spiritual life in this suffering environment. Siddhartha Gautama then left the palace for good and tried to learn from other holymen.
  • Thank you for teaching me master.
  • Siddhartha Gautama nearly starved himself to death as other holymen did but this didn't bring him solace from suffering. But then he thought of a moment when he was a child, this thought gave him peace and so he ate, meditated and ate again and reached the highest state of enlightenment nirvana. with reaching the highest state he became the Buddha the awakened one. He recognised that everything in this world is unified by suffering
  • Now, there is about half to one and a half billion people world wide following Buddha's teachings.
