  • People start to head towards the churches. They all strongly agree with prohibition.

  • Harry works hard on his farm planting his crops. Out in the rural areas they also agree with prohibition.
  • Get the alcohol in the building.
  • Crime began to rise in the city because people were against prohibition and started bootlegging alcohol for the profit.
  • Speakeasies rose in popularity because so many people disagreed with prohibition so they started to go to speakeasies and drink alcohol.
  • gangs started to pay cops so they would be corrupt and let bootlegging and speakeasies keep on going in the cities.
  • Prohibition failed because so many people disagreed with it in the city. Bootlegging became popular and gangs would fight over it for the profit off of their speakeasies. They eventually began to pay off the cops and no one could enforce prohibition.
