Storyboard Text

  • Today i will be making healthy blueberry muffins
  • Before i start i need to was my hands and put on my apron and preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  • For this recipe you will need:- 280g Wholemeal spelt four- 2 tsp baking powder- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon- 2 tbs light extra virgin olive oil- 2 tbs sugar free maple syrup- 2 eggs- 1 cup low fat blueberry yogurt- 2 tsp vanilla extract- 1 1/4 cups frozen blueberries
  • The materials you will need are:- Sifter- 2x Bowl- Whisk- Metal spoon- Wooden spoon- Muffin tin- Wire rack

  • Sift the flour, bakingpowder and cinnamon into a bowl. Set aside
  • Whisk the oil and syrup together in a bowl until combined. Add eggs, yoghurt,and vanilla. Whisk well until combined.
  • Make a well in the centre of flour mixture. Pour in oil mixture. Stiruntil just combined. Use a metal spoon to fold in 1 cup blueberries.
  • Spoon batter into muffin holes. Scatter over remaining blueberries. Bakefor 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  • Setaside in the pan for 2 minutes to cool slightly before transferring to a wirerack to cool completely.
