"Aah, this is tiring, but the lawn is now clean. Wait a weed! I must cut it!"
"We actually do something more called photosynthesis. It is a way to help the environment. I do this by turning water, carbon dioxide and energy into oxygen and sugar. "
"Weeds don't do anything besides look ugly."
"I shall tell you the steps I take. First I absorb sunlight from my sick, ripped chloroplasts and then my even more ripped roots absorb water and that is used for photosynthesis.
"I don't really care, but okay."
"I go through this process every single day. Then while sunlight is being absorbed the carbon dioxide enters the plant into the stomata in my leaves. My guards determine whether they can go in or not. After these are absorbed, I turn the sun's energy into chemical energy. After another process I create sugar and oxygen. Oxygen is what you breathe every day. The sugar is used to energize me."
"Wow you really work hard. But too bad. You're still dying."
