Almost every day in the world people throw trash on the streets on the sidewalks everywhere. But when it rains all the trash goes strait to the sea
this is a model of a land form
the trash goes to the sea because of a land form which is a hill or mountain. the mountain or hill has water that travels strait to the sea which holds the trash.
Then all that trash gets into the gyers which are large systems of ocean currents that collect trash and make them travel in circles over and over again .
here is an image of a gyer. These things are so big
and because of the gyers the trash doesn't go anywhere except in circles so then it collects the trash and it made the garbage patch because it was just collecting trash that it even made an island of just trash
In the end even if you try to clean the garbage patch it will be back because people don't listen and they throw the trash on the floor or something. so basically its are fault because we don't take care of the trash and the plastic that why it ends up
