  • Pimples
  • Hair
  • Voice Change
  • This is Tom. Tom has reached puberty. Tom has started to get pimples which are the result of oil getting trapped in the pores.There are many types of pimples, some include pustules and papules.
  • Toms friend Bobby has started growing underarm hair which normally starts to appear at the beginning of puberty. Usually completed by the end of teenage years, Bobby is noticing it now.
  • Growth Spurt
  • Other signs of puberty that Tom and Bobby may notice are a voice change or voice mutation,sometimes referred to as a voice break, commonly refers to the deepening of the voice of boys as they reach puberty.
  • Final Height
  • Another sign of puberty is the Chest and shoulders changing which usually start to change in the middle of teenage years and muscles start to develop.
  • During puberty boys experience a rapid growth in height over a span of 2 to 3 years.
  • Tom and Bobby will probably achieve final height in their late teens, but it can be anytime between 15 and 20 years of age.
