Lewis and Clark begin! Starting upstream in the Missouri River .The expedition began on July 3rd, 1804. They thought they were supplied well enough, but they end up thinking differently.

The indians warned about Grizzly bears, but Louis was unimpressed. He thought that he would be no match for the bears with a riffle. Later, Lewis and his men spotted a bear and fired at it. The next thing Louis knew, was that he was running for his life. He ran 80 yards until someone was able to kill the bear.
Louis gets shock in the leg! One of Clark's men sees his buckskin clothing and assumes he's and animal. After this Louis and Clark's groups are reunited.
After 2 years, 4 months, and 10 days, Lewis and Clark returned, along with everyone else on the expedition. Lewis and Clark brought home a wealth of information, as well as the discovery of 300 new plants and animals, and some claims to the Oregon Territory.
