My Scheuerman's Kyphosis Journey

After being diagnosed with Scheuermann's Kyphosis, like what the hunchback of Notre Dame has, I went to a few doctors and said the only alternative is surgery...
We were going to wait a year, and see if it got progressively better or worse, but my first doctor said I don't have a year because I could die from suffocation... Because this doctor put it so bluntly and didn't make me feel comfortable, I went to a new doctor.
After going to multiple places to get X-Rays, blood work, and meet possible doctors. I was diagnosed with a 98 degree curve in my back, which is very bad....
I finally got to meet my doctor, Dr. Cronen, and he is the surgeon for the Tampa Bay Rays! He was really nice, and we set my surgery date for July 28, 2012.
Today was my surgery day, and the scariest part of the surgery to me was the IV... I have a serious phobia of needles, probably because of the blood works and shots (sadly the phobia hasn't left yet). The surgery was about 10 hours long. I went in at 8:00 and got out around 5:00....
