  • Rising action 2
  • Libby and Jack both suffer from the wrath of their peers. Libby is made fun of for her weight and Jack has to make his way through life without recognizing anyone. Libby and Jack are also falling in love and the other students at MVBHS aren't understanding of the relationship.
  • Climax
  • In the lunch room, Jack grabs Libby as a part of his friends "Fat Girl Rodeo". Libby is scared and when she finally unlatches him from her, she punches him in the face, resulting in a trip to the principal. The two are forced to participate in community service together.
  • Falling action
  • As a way to apologize to Libby about the events that took place in the cafeteria, Jack writes Libby a letter, explaining the "Face-Blindness". Libby says that she has questions and their relationship starts from there.
  • Resolution
  • In order to get all of his questions about "Face- Blindness" answered, Jack asks Libby to go see a doctor with him, seeing as she's the only person that knows about his disorder. During the long car ride, they become closer and dont dislike each other.
  • As a way to cope with his family drama, like his father cheating, Jack goes to a party and gets drunk, Libby shows up just when Jack passes out. Jack drunkenly tells his friends about his "Face- Blindness".
  • After hating each other for weeks, the two finally admit their real feelings for each other. All of Jacks family problems seem to work themselves out and Libby never let her peers opinions get to her.
  • I love you
