We have been wronged!
My Grandmother died on the journey
Where are the rest of the supplies! These are rotted!
One of the major mistakes made with Indian removal was that the Native Americans had to move at a bad time of year, they had no protection, supplies, and even the unfit had to move.
Another major problem with Indian removal was that when they arrived, the supplies the Native Americans were promised were either not provided or rotted.
We'd like to go home, thanks.
A better removal compromise would be having the Native Americans to move over a period of time. That way, they could move at the right time of year and the unfit could move safely.
I have to make lots of decisions
If the native Americans could have moved over a certain period of time, some Native Americans could have gone ahead of build a settlement for the others. IT would also need to be made sure that the supplies were actually provided.
One lesson we learn from this is to not force people out of their homes and to appreciate other cultures.
We also learn about compromise and that the President works for the people, but also for the greater good of the country.
