  • Rising action
  • One day a young man named Ryan, Poseidon's son, was out to sea. He was frightened by a loud cracking sound, this was the cracking of his boat.
  • Climax
  • But this is the only way I can get home! I have the power to tame them anyway!
  • Son, you need to stop killing these innocent dolphins, just because they don't do what you want, they don't understand you.
  • Ryan had an idea that he could tame the dolphins so that he could ride them home.
  • Falling action
  • I warned you son, but you didn't listen. Now you have to pay.
  • At this point in the story Ryan was going crazy, he thought that he could talk to the dolphins. When they weren't cooperating he killed two of them.
  • Resolution
  • What have I done, I am a terrible person. Now, in honor of him I will make tsunamis every time I think of him.
  • Now, Poseidon is warning Ryan to stop killing innocent animals. Although Ryan is upset, Poseidon is trying to make him realize that the dolphins do not understand him.
  • Because Ryan didn't listen to his father and killed three more dolphins, his father knew he wouldn't stop until he got home so he had to punish him.
  • After the tsunami passed, Poseidon had realized what he had done, killed him. Poseidon felt terrible, he was just trying to get his message across. So now every time Poseidon thinks back on that day, he releases his anger by creating a tsunami.
