Storyboard Text

  • He found himself with a large debt to pay, and was forced to move out of his flat. It was only then that he decided to ask for some help from his good friend, Lord Durray.
  • Graham Crochet was a wealthy man, healthy and happy, but he had been very young then and lots had changed. He was adopted and had once been a farmer, in the countryside in Bristol, England, but had lost a lot of his money from a poor harvest one year. He sold his farm and bought a flat in the city. There he decided he would start his own buisness, but it had all gone terribly wrong...
  • Lord Durray had a family and was a wealthy man so seemed like the sort of peson you would get help from. Durray advised Graham to start over and he agreed to lend Graham some money to start him off. Soon Graham was wealthy again and he became more and more respected in London society...
  • Thank you for your help Henry, it is greatly apriciated,
  • No problem, old pal, good to see you getting on in life.
  • Back at Durray House the detective is reflecting on his interviews...
  • Graham Crochet had lied. He was sure of it. He had told the detective that he had never known Alexander Snoffle, but  DC Wright had discovered the truth.  When Lord Durray had come in he asked whether he knew if any of the guests had met eachother previously. Lord Durray claimed only one of them had met Alexander Snoffle at  a previous party held at  Farly House, which of course, was the house belonging to Graham Crotchet. Crochet was the one to have invited Snoffle, so why would Graham lie?
  • Yes sir. There's some in the pantry, I'll get it for you now. Wait here please sir.
  • So DC Wright went into the kitchen to get some cake. In the kithen was a flustered looking cook and the scullery maid Marie...
  • Hello there Cook. Are you quite alright? Any chance you have any of that double chocolate meringue-topped strawberry pieced glittery queen cake left?
  • So he went back to his room and ate his cake. But little did he know, there were goings on in the house that he was unaware of. There was a meeting planned then, a meeting, in the attic...
  • DC Wright got his cake and walked back the his allocated room in the house...
  • Yum, yum. Oh Cook, what would I do without you? How utterly odd. Cook is always cheerful...
  • It doesn't fit. Why would this man lie? He is perfectly wealthy, why would he lie?? Jealousy, maybe? Oh, 'tis such a confusing case... I am going to get myself a slice of cake before I do anything else...
  • You know  nothing!
  • So, later on that night...
  • I know what you are up to, there is no point in hiding it anymore. Confess to the detective or i will tell him myself. I am not scared of you, so you better think hard about this.
