Hamlet meets his fathers ghost. The ghost told Hamlet to get revenge on his uncle Claudius because he murdered him.
Hamlet organised a play about his fathers death so that he could see Claudius's reaction to show whether he was guilty or not. Hamlet decided that Claudius was guilty. Hamlet gets rejected from Ophilia who he loves.
Gertrude calls Hamlet into her bedroom but Hamlet doesn't know that Polonius is hiding behind the curtain. Hamlet then stabs Polonius thinking it was Claudius but he doesn't feel any guilt for stabbing Polonius.
The Fencing Match
Hamlet gets banished to England but pirates capture him and take him all the way back to Denmark.
When Hamlet comes back from England he goes to the graveyard only to find Ophelia lying in the grave. Hamlet and Laertes fight over who loves Ophelia more.
They have a fencing match to decide who loves Ophelia more but hamlet doesn't know that Laertes had dipped his sword in poison so that if he wins and stabs Hamlet then he will die but Claudius also poison in Hamlets drink so if he drinks that he will also die. Gertrude drinks the drink and dies. In the middle of the match they fall and accidently swap swords and Hamlet has now got the poisoned sword and stabs Laertes with it but then he drinks the poisoned drink and Hamlet finds out that Claudius poisoned the drink and stabs him. Only Horatio is left standing.
