  • Scene 1: The Crow In the first scene, the crow settle in a branch with a piece of cheese in its beak  Time: 5s 
  • That's for me, as I am a Fox
  • Scene 2: The Fox In the second scene, the fox says   "That's for me, as I am a Fox," said Master Reynard, and he walked up to the foot of the tree.   Time: 5s
  •  Scene 3: The flattering In the third scene, the fox sees the cheese in the beak of the crow, and the fox tries flatter the Crow Time: 20s 
  • Good day, Mistress Crow how well you are looking today: how glossy your feathers; how bright your eye. I feel sure your voice must surpass that of other birds, just as your figure does; let me hear but one song from you that I may greet you as the Queen of Birds.
  • Scene 4: The cheese In the fourth scene, the crow lifted up her head and began to caw her best, but the moment she opened her mouth the piece of cheese fell to the ground. Time: 5s
  • Scene 5: The snatch In the fifth scene, the cheese was snapped up by Master Fox. Time: 3s
  • Scene 6: The moral In the sixth scene, the fox gives the crow a piece of advice after snapping up the cheese Time: 10s
  • That will do that was all I wanted. In exchange for your cheese I will give you a piece of advice for the future: "Do not trust flatterers."
