  • MWAHAHAHAHAHA!
  • Wait...
  • Can I come with you? PLEASE?
  • I'll see what I can do.
  • Thank you!
  • Rexx looked around. This was his doing, now he has nothing to rule, no one to gloat too. He felt something, guilt, he hadn’t felt that since when he was a cloud nymph too. He had run away from his abusive father and looked back on his brother and mother, he felt bad that he let them die, without even saying goodbye. The least he could do was save Seraphina. Maybe he could help her be less selfish, now that she has nothing too.
  • RUN!!
  • Good Morn-Hunter? AUTHORITIES!
  • At dawn the next day, Seraphina had two hours left and was the only nymph still alive. Rexx made his way into the library seeing Hunter say his final goodbyes. She was pleading with him. She thought if she came with him. She could survive. He decided to ask.
  •
  • For an hour he worked, weaving a complicated spell to bring them to New York safely. He explained that time passed faster up here than in New York so it had been five years down there, Hunter was 23 and missed three years of his life. They said their thanks, good-byes, and Seraphina gazed once more upon the world that she had been so desperate to love. Before taking Hunter’s hand and stepping into the portal together.
  • He's gone!
  • The elevator door opened into the observation deck of the Empire State building. The doorman turned to greet them and realized that the missing man had just appeared from thin air. In his arms was a shimmery girl that was turning gray. The curse was working faster will all of the pollution in the air and she didn’t have long. He wished that he hadn’t have trusted Rexx, now Seraphina was going to die because of it. But, it was Seraphina’s fault too.
  • Hunter started running, with the authorities sprinting after him, he ran and ran until he reached his mom’s apartment. After a quick hug, he ran and set Seraphina down on the couch, just in time to watch the life drain from her face. Tears were pouring down his face, anger clouding his brain, he didn’t know what to do. He clung to his mom and they cried together.
  • His mom was so worried, he had been gone for five years, Mary had come over to tell her that he never came home. She had no idea where he went. His mom had no idea who this girl was, or what she was for that matter, why she was gray and dead or why he cared so much about her. But, the many questions in her mind could wait.
