A caregiver of an old man tells a story and says he has a disease that sharpens his senses and he can hear things from heaven and hell. He was found mentally ill after he had killed the old man that he loved because he didn't like his eye.
The caregiver decides to kill the old man because of his "vulture eye" he calls it.
Next, every night for seven days the caregiver spied on the old man looking for his eye but every night, he found that his eye was closed. The caregiver accidentally wakes the old man and is afraid that after he kills the old man, people will complain about the noise.
So, after seven nights of spying on the old man, the caregiver dragged the old mans body off the bed and put the bed on top of his body suffocating the old man.
Then, the caregiver of the old man carried him into a bath tub where he then cut the old man up and buried him underneath the floorboards. Later, the police came to their house because the neighbors had complained about noise. The caregiver invited them in because after cleaning up the mess he made killing the old man, he was confidant that he would not get caught.
While talking to the police who sat right above where the old man was buried, they became very comfortable and didn't suspect anything. The caregiver becomes uncomfortable and wishes the police gone. He starts to hear something. He believes that he can hear the beating of the old mans heart that is buried underneath him. He drives himself insane. After being tortured with guilt, the caregiver admits he killed the man.
