Storyboard Text

  • Who caused The Trojan War-By Amelia Doyle
  • Aphrodite is not happy that prince Paris has chosen her half sister, Helen as the fairest in the land.
  • What, Paris chose Hellen  to be the fairest in the land instead of me?
  • So the gods decide to throw a wedding and not invite me!
  • The gods had a wedding but did not invite the goddess of disagreement, "Eris". But she decided to go anyway.
  • This apple shall decide who is the fairest of the land.
  • Eris  put a golden apple of discord on the table and said to herself that it was for the fairest in the land.
  • All Aphrodite, Hera, and Athena wanted the apple but Zeus made Paris decide who should get it. But Paris simply could not he thought that all of them were beautiful. So to make it easier he said whoever's  bribe was better would get the apple
  • That apple is mine!
  • Whoever bribes me with the thing I want the most, gets the apple.
  • Aphrodite bribed Paris with her half-sister, Helen. Of course he said yes, Helen at the time was the fairest in the land. Aphrodite was successful at making Helen fall in love with Paris and they ran away together. Then Aphrodite was claimed to be the most fairest in the land.
  • Ha! My plan has worked, I put Helen in a deep trance to fall in love with Paris. Now I am the fairest in the land.
  • I knew that he would take my bribe. Mine was the best!
  • The main conflict of this myth is that the gods had a  wedding and did not invite Eris to it. This caused Eris to put the golden apple of discord on the food table. "She threw a golden apple of discord on the feasting table".
