Rome was built on the side of a river and eventually expanded to be over 7 hills. They had many hills and a large body of water surronding them.
The myth of Romulus and Remus is a daughter of a king has twins that he fears is going to over run him. He has someone try to drown them but they failed and a wolf saved them and eventually they get found by a person . They then start to build Rome and fight over what the name should be and Romulus killed Remus and then he was the king.
The Etruscans influenced Roman engineering very heavily such as the arch and the cuniculus. The Romans used their ideas and soon became even better engineers and built stadiums, aqueducts, huge public buildings, and bridges. They used the arch to build bigger and heavier buildings and the cuniculus to irrigate fields and drain swamps
The Etruscans also had a big influence on Roman sports such as Chariot racing, Slave fighting, and gladiator fighting. All of these sports were dangerous and were adapted by the Romans from the etruscans.
The Romans have also picked up some things from the Greeks such as the columns. The Roman Colosseum uses columns that were made in Greece.
Greek also influenced the Roman religion, art and writing such as pottery. The Romans used pottery, used the greeks adapted alphabet from the Etruscans, and
