- The Delian League was created for an protection for the people because they would fear that the Persia would strike again, it was run by the Athens and was then later turned into a Athens benefits because they would use the the money that they had and used it on their selves. This would anger the Spartans because they would spend it on their navy and the their kingdom and they were gaining to much power without sharing the money.

- As the Athens use their money out from the Delian League and they would use it to protect all of their city-states for it own benefits. The people protested the inequality and attempted to free themselves from the Athenia Rule, Pericles would punish them for their protest. The Spartans had enough of them using the money on themselves and so they declared war and that how the Peloponnesian wars begin. The Spartans and Athens were having a hard time to were to fight the Spartans can fight on land and the Athens can fight on sea and if they pick one of these areas one of them will have a genuine win. The Spartans were mad because they were not hurrying up with the war, they would march and they would burn the economy burning the crops and that were the Athens were safe and one of them had to come out to fight check the crops. As they were about to attack a sudden plague came out of no where and this was the most dangerous Plague that came out killing about 60,000 athens it Spartans soldiers they would come to a stop and have a truce for 50 years but that would not last until the 2 year

- This truce would had to last for 50 years until 2 years later, the Athens laid on a siege Syracuse Sicily´s it was the strongest and most richest island because the land there was fertile for crops a dispute between a pro Athenian colony and a pro Spartan colony and prompted Athens to invade the Athens soldiers would surround a city and will try to attempt to take control of it. The Spartans would seized it control of the land around the Athens and would cut the Athens agricultural and the economic resources and the Athens would be weakened and weakened. And this would make a terrible situation for the Athens and the city-state would not have good leaders left and the navel fleet away and was been destroyed by Sparta, and later they would partner up with the Persians.

- The Spartans were humiliating the proud Athens the long walls linking the Athens to sea and would torn down the Athens navy and this was reduced to 12 ships. As a final insult the Spartans replaced the Athens democracy with an oligarchy a government made out of small group of people. And tyrants would rule this group making ruthless and and controlling ways and this would cause a leadership conflicts within the democracy-loving Athens.
- The once powerful city of Athens was no reduce to a second-rate state, however the Athens were not alone in the suffering the long war had been costly in men, money and resources to all city-states involved Greece as a whole was left to weakened and vulnerable. To repair their damage the city-states needed to cooperate with one another, and unfortunately the end of the war did not stop and it did not stop the conflicts from erupting the city-states were now soon warring among themselves again, and in it weakened condition Greece was now at it prime target of attack.
