- Jacob decided to share his knowledge about the safety precautions before, during and after a volcanic eruption to his neighbors.
- This is what you can do before volcanic eruption:1. Stay alert and listen for emergency informations2. Follow evacuation or shelter orders.3. Prepare your emergency kit.4. Avoid areas downstream of the eruption.5. Store as much food, water and flashlights that can be use in case of emergency.
- This is what you can do during volcanic eruption:1. Don't panic and stay with your family.2. Stay inside the evacuation center until further announcement were given.3. If you are inside your house, close all the windows and doors, also, wear masks to avoid breathing in volcanic ashes.4. Don't let you kids play outside. 5. Listen to the radio.
- Volcanic ash is a mixture of rock, mineral, and glass particles expelled from a volcano during a volcanic eruption. It can affect our respiratory system
- And lastly, this is what you can do aftervolcanic eruption:1. Wait for the announcements of local officers2. Clean everything around and check the damages but be careful.3. Stay away from ashfall areas4. Make sure that you house and your family is still safe5. Use mask and eye protector while cleaning up.
